- Currency The Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC), which was the official currency used by travellers visiting Cuba, is no longer accepted. The Cuban Peso (CUP) is now the official currency. In addition, neither American cash nor credit cards issued by an American institution will be accepted in Cuba. There are no automatic teller machines in Cuba.
- Forbidden items It is forbidden to bring receiver-transmitters (walkie-talkies) and electronic cigarettes into Cuba.
- Land-only Please note that hoteliers reserve the right to refuse a land-only reservation at time of check-in if passengers are not Canadians Residents.
- Sport equipment If you travel with sports equipment such as a bike, golf or kite board, a special transfer must be reserved prior to departure (fees apply).
- Kite surfing Fees per stay may apply at destination for kite surfing. Please ask your destination representative for details.
- Summer Some services might not be available in Cuba during summer. (May 1 to October 31)
