19 January, 2017: Air Transat, the award-winning Canadian leisure airline, has announced it is to introduce a new and improved Bistro menu for the summer season.
From 1 May, 2017, passengers travelling from the UK & Ireland to Canada will benefit from a new and improved complimentary menu featuring a choice of three traditional hot dishes – pasta, chicken and beef – along with salad, a glass of wine* and dessert.
Return flights, which are overnight services, will offer a choice of three sandwiches – ham and brie; Mediterranean chicken; and roasted vegetable – served with salad, a glass of wine* and dessert.
Air Transat flies directly from London Gatwick to Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal, from Manchester and Glasgow to Toronto and Vancouver, and Birmingham to Toronto; as well as from Dublin to Toronto and Montreal.
All Air Transat flights include the added value of a 23kg allowance for hold luggage, meals and soft drinks on board, plus in-flight entertainment.
Air Transat continues to offer special dietary meal requests available to pre-book in advance of travel.
Air Transat offers flexible Eco fares, allowing passengers to make changes for free up to the day of departure. Passengers can also book Option Plus for more economy class benefits, or upgrade to Club Class, a separate cabin Premium Economy service.
