TORONTO, Aug. 17, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) is continuing to convert some of its Marlin Travel agencies in Ontario and Western Canada to the Transat Travel brand, and has introduced a special promotion as an incentive for customers to do their part for the environment.
"Since early June, we've rebranded about a dozen Marlin Travel agencies, in Alberta and especially in Ontario and British Columbia, under the Transat Travel banner," explains Joseph Adamo, TDC's President. "Our new agency premises feature sleek, uncluttered design, showcasing the Transat brand and featuring evocative travel imagery, all of which is very attractive to our travel professionals and especially to customers, who are immersed in a pleasant atmosphere as soon as they walk in."
But TDC's President insists on one key element: "All our Transat Travel agencies are full service retailers. We provide consumers professional advice when booking their travel with Transat, or with any other supplier worldwide".
By year-end 2016, 37 Marlin Travel agencies will have been converted to the Transat Travel colours.
Special promotion
Customers were invited to go to any Marlin Travel or Transat Travel corporate agency in Canada between June 20th and July 20th to pick up copies of the new Transat Sun and Cruises brochures and get 10 AIR MILES® Bonus Miles with our Return. Re-read. Reward." program. The goal of the program is to encourage customers to take their previously read brochure back to a participating agency in good condition so that someone else can use it. Customers who return a Transat Sun and Cruises brochure to a participating agency before September 30th are awarded an additional 10 AIR MILES Bonus Miles. Plus if the customer books a Transat Sun or Cruise vacation in one of the agencies, by August 31st they will also benefit from a 2 x AIR MILES® Bonus Miles offer.
