Jean-Marc Eustache, President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat A.T. Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Michel Lemay in the newly-created position of Vice-President, Communications and Corporate Affairs. Mr. Lemay will assume his new duties on March 6.
"Mr. Lemay is a first-rate communications professional, with a wealth of experience in the corporate world, and we are pleased to see him join our executive team and play a pivotal role in the management of Transat's reputation," said Mr. Eustache.
Lemay, who has nearly 25 years experience in the field of communication, is currently Vice-President, Corporate and Financial Communication, with consultancy Optimum Public Relations, a division of Cossette Communication Group, a company he joined in 1992. He was previously Director of Communication at the Montreal Exchange. Mr. Lemay is a graduate of Université Laval and HEC Montréal. Over the last 14 years, he helped many corporations manage public relations, reputation and financial communication, and was involved in several high profile files.
