Montreal, July 17, 2012
On July 2, 2012, Transat Holidays launched a new program offering consolidator flights worldwide to support its cruise program.
“This is great news for cruise enthusiasts as Transat Holidays has magnified its flight offerings to ports of embarkation that are not usually serviced by Air Transat,” commented Denis Codère, Vice President, Sales, Commercialization and Development Europe and Cruises, Transat Tours Canada. We can now offer flights in conjunction with cruises sailing from a wide array of destinations in Australia and New Zealand, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, South America, United Arab Emirates, China and more. Our consolidator flight comes with a 5% commission payout to travel agents. Also included is our famous flight protection guarantee, which protects passengers who miss their cruise in the event of a flight delay by transporting them to the next port of call.
Consolidator flights will be provided by over 60 airlines such as Air China, Austrian Airlines, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, Delta, Emirates, Finnair, Etihad, Lufthansa, Qantas, South African Airways, Air Pacific, Lan Chile, Lan Peru, Air Canada, Air France, Alitalia, West Jet and British Airways.
This new program is offered in conjunction with all our cruise line partners: Azamara Club Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Louis Cruises, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Pullmantur, Royal Caribbean International, Star Clippers and Uniworld River Cruises.
