Transat Holidays was pleased to welcome 20 agents on its first Unique Experiences for groups fam trip to Rome and Tuscany, which took place from October 16 to 24, 2011. Highlights of this very successful trip included a city tour of Rome, wine tastings in the Siena and Chianti regions and a cooking class in Tuscany. The group was also able to visit Lucca, Pisa, Florence and San Gimignano.
Unique Experiences is a series of themed escorted group itineraries geared towards specific consumer interests. On this particular fam trip, agents were given the opportunity to explore Rome and Tuscany. They were provided with ideas and suggestions on how to customize groups and offer their clients a unique, one-of-a-kind experience in the areas of art, culture or culinary travel. The latter being one of the fastest growing trends in group travel today.
