MONTREAL, May 30
Air Transat, the vacation airline, today announced that it is prolonging the national promotion that offers travellers from Canada the chance to sample Europe between now and October 2003 at more affordable fares than ever.
From May 15 to June 9, 2003 (extended deadline date for air travel purchase), travellers will be able to take advantage of the seat sale for an Air Transat flight to Europe-from Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
The carrier, who has just successfully concluded negotiations pertaining to a new labour agreement with its pilots, decided to extend the promotion because of its unparalleled success instimulating demand for Europe. Europe is Air Transat's main destination during the summer period.
This offer includes most of the carrier's destinations and is very flexible as faras travel dates are concerned, allowing passengers the opportunity to book in June for travel during Spring and Summer, up until October 2003. After June 9, which marks the end of the promotion, fares will return to normal for this period of the year.
Air Transat offers flights to many main European cities with more direct flights offered than any other Canadian carrier. This allows passengers to visit different countries in Europe, trouble free.
Advance seat selection is available at a minimum charge to offer passengers the opportunity to choose their seating. Club Transat Class is also available, for a supplement, on all flights to allow passengers to enjoy more comfortable seats, a greater baggage allowance, dedicated service beforeboarding and in flight as well as a priority baggage service. For more detailed fares and a comprehensive list of the flights included in the promotion, please consult your travel agent or visit our web site at www.airtransat.com
